Wanted: Accounts of Wetlands
NAHB is looking for members who are willing to share information on the difficulties they have encountered in obtaining wetlands permits from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Of interest are such problems as:
- Removing material from a wetland on a development site
- Permitting obligations as a result of development activities in isolated wetlands not connected to a navigable body of water
The information will be used in affidavits or legal briefs supporting the association’s legal action efforts. It will also be provided to environmental reporters.
